Rental Requirements:You are required to furnish the following to enjoy our rental services:
- Valid driver’s license
- Passport copy with visa page
- Authorized credit card
Note: We take credit card imprint and block security amounts as a security upon the pick-up of the vehicle.
Age:The minimum age for availing the rental service is 21 years.
Driving license:It is mandatory for all the drivers to carry a locally accepted driving license. UAE residents need to carry a UAE license only, that must have completed at least one year after the date of issue. Visitors are prompted to have an international driving license before arriving to the UAE.
Fuel:The vehicle needs to be returned by the hirer with the same fuel level as given. Failing to do so will invite the payment of cost of fuel plus a service charge.
Accidents:In case of an accident or damage to vehicle you need to inform the police. The police report is essential barring which you will be made to pay the entire cost of damage on the vehicle.
Insurance Excess:It will be the responsibility of the customer to settle the insurance excess or deductible amount listed on the Vehicle Hire Agreement if any damage or loss including fire and theft is caused to the vehicle, provided the customer has used, operated and driven the vehicle in conformity with the agreement. The validity police report is must.
Super Damage Waiver (SDW),Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) The waiver of Collision Damage or Super Damage is an optional waiver of the responsibility of client to pay for damages or loss that may result to loss of use and any related costs and expenses due to any collision or damage to the rented vehicle. These waivers are subject of purchase at the beginning of the rental and will be effective only when listed as an extra charge on the Vehicle Hire Agreement and when corroborated by a valid police report. The hirer will be liable for all repair costs and damages including third party costs.
Personal Accident Insurance For the safe driving of our customer we also offer Personal Accident Insurance that can be availed by paying an additional cost which covers the drivers and the passengers. * Conditions Apply
Hit and Run Policy: In case the renter meets an accident and booked by police under a hit and run report, irrespective of being culpable for his offence, he has to pay Dollar Rent a Car full amount of insurance excess listed on the Vehicle Hire Agreement. But in case the client wants to go for SDW the clause does not apply. However, police report is a must.
Oman Insurance: Those hirers who are traveling to Oman needs to collect an Oman Insurance Certificate from any of the Dollar branches in UAE. Charges applied will vary according to the vehicles, time and period.
Additional Drivers:The hirer may add an extra driver at an extra cost, provided that he fulfills all necessary requirements.
Traffic violations: All drivers are expected to obey the traffic rules of the land. For every traffic fine incurred they will be charged 10% extra to cover administration charges.
Delivery & Collection:Not to put you through inconvenience we can deliver and collect vehicles right at your doorsteps for a mild charge.
Salik: Salik sticker appears on our all vehicles which will cost only Dhs. 5 per passage at the Salik toll gates.
Payments: Clients can pay their rental in cash or credit. Note: Credit card is still required for security. Debit cards are not considered for security.
Airport Charges: An airport parking fee will be charged for all vehicles hired from our airport counters. If you want to avoid these parking fees then you need to return the rented vehicles to any non-airport branch locations between 0800H to 1700H (Saturday to Thursday).
